Last Friday AND middle Wed of the month. Friday class is reserved for the ladies only and is 90 minutes with Reiki and meditation. Mid month is for ALL, 60 min. Classes are held in the parlor at the beautiful mansion of Center for Mind, Body, Play in Clifton. 3345 Whitfield Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45220. Entrance is in the back. Park where you can. Starts at 7 pm sharp. Exact dates on the calendar on Anandaedu.com and vagaro.com/raindrop and select classes to sign up. Packages available.

Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of an object. Yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect of an object. These two aspects always coexist~there is never one without the other. 


Excersises that create a gentle traction of the connective tissue are yin. As important it is for our physical and mental well being to be strong, it is not the muscular strength that gives us the feeling of ease and lightness in the body, it is the flexibility in our joints. 


If we never bend our knees and stretch our spines, the connective tissue is going to shorten to accommodate our movements. If we want to maintain our joints flexibility, we must exercise them. But we should not exercise them like muscles, we must exercise them in a yin way.

In Yin, the muscles must be relaxed.  We use gravity and props. Lots of comfy bolsters and blankets so you can settle into the first edge. And then be still. Postures are held from 3-12 minutes. This is not a restorative yoga class.

 90 min of bliss. Each class will have a concentration, hand mudra, reiki, and a guided meditation. Please bring your own props-bolster, blocks, pillows, blanket or whatever you choose for your comfort. I have limited props, first come first serve.
